All FAQs that deal with card images!
- What are the specs for an Enthusem card?
A finished Enthusem card is 8.5" x 5.5" (flat) and 4.25" x 5.5" (folded).
If you have a graphic designer and they would like to design cards exactly to spec:
1710 pixels wide by 1304 pixels tall
This includes a .125" bleed on all sides
We recommend using a .25" margin for any text
We have templates available for Photoshop and InDesign, click here: http://support.enthusem.com/forums/22991436-Enthusem-Templates. Please note, when you preview your proof in Enthusem, the proof does not include crop marks...however it DOES include the bleed you built into your image. If you're going to design your image to spec, it is important that you follow the specs exactly to ensure your image will not be cut off.
If you're unsure that your image is built correctly to spec, please feel free to send it to us and we can check it out for you.
- I'm not a graphic designer but I'd like to create images for my cards, how do I do that?
You don't have to be a graphic designer to create images for your cards. If you visit the Visit Video Demo's help topic. There you will see a video for paint.net & picnik.com. Visiting those sites is an easy way to create custom images. You can also upload any .jpg that you might have from the web or your digital camera and use our cropping tool to resize and position the image for the front of your cards.
- Why can't I upload my photo?
Have you checked the file type? Your photo has to be a .jpg to be uploaded into Enthusem. If that doesn't seem to be the problem, open up the original in a program such as Paint and do a file>save as .jpg to ensure the file isn't corrupted. Now your image should be able to be uploaded into Enthusem! Also, be sure that your image is in RGB format - we print digitally so no CMYK here!
